There
are a variety of options for saltwater
fishing with Captain
Bob, and the Northeast
Florida area offers first class fishing
year round.
Depending on the conditions and
your preference, you will use bait,
lures and/or flies.
You can choose to fish from a 21-ft Fishmaster bay boat or a
16-ft Riverhawk boat, which is used in
very shallow water to fish artificial
lures or flies.
Here
is a sample of available fish and their
seasons in Northeast Florida:
Summer
(June-Aug):
Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Spanish
& King Mackerel, Jacks,
Ladyfish, Tarpon.
Fall
(Sept - Nov): Redfish,
Tarpon, Trout, Flounder, Pompano,
Whiting,
Bluefish, Sheepshead, Black Drum,
Ladyfish, Sharks.
Winter
(Dec – Feb): Redfish, Trout,
Sheepshead, Black
Drum, Whiting, Bluefish.
Spring
(March-May):
Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Spanish
Mackerel, Pompano,
Bluefish, Whiting, Large Black Drum,
Sheepshead, Cobia, Jacks.
Captain
Bob will provide all fishing
tackle, bait, lures, flies, ice and
licenses, though
customers are welcome
to use their own gear. He will make every effort to customize
trips to meet customers’
needs. Anglers of all skill levels and children are welcome.
Captain
Bob's rates (as of June 1, 2008) are:
Half
day trip (4 hours) up to three (3) people
= $325.00*
Full
day trip (6 hours) up to three (3) people
= $425.00*
Extended day trip (8 hours) up to three (3) people = $525.00*
*Offshore tarpon fishing is an additional $50.00.
Fourth
person additional $50.00.
